Warranty Policy – The Sports Express

At The Sports Express, we take pride in the quality of our cricket bats. Each bat is carefully crafted and checked before dispatch. This warranty policy is designed to keep things clear, fair, and transparent.

Warranty Coverage

All cricket bats come with a limited 6-month warranty on the handle from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects in the handle, such as internal breakage or structural issues under normal playing conditions.

What is Covered

This warranty includes genuine manufacturing issues such as handle breakage due to a factory defect or problems related to the bonding between the handle and the blade during normal use.

What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or negligence.

It also does not apply to cracks, splits, or damage to the blade that occur during regular play.

Damage caused by using wet balls, playing on hard surfaces, or improper knocking is not covered.

Toe damage, surface marks, and general wear and tear over time are considered normal and are not included.

Any modifications or repairs done by a third party will void the warranty.

As cricket bats are made from natural wood, minor surface cracks, grains, and marks are normal and do not affect performance.

Claim Process

To raise a warranty claim, please contact us within the warranty period with your order details and clear images or videos showing the issue.

Resolution

If the issue is found to be covered under warranty, we may offer repair of the bat, replacement (subject to availability), or partial support depending on the condition of the product.

Customers may be required to send the product back for inspection.
